Inspired by houses in the local Alexandria, Virginia area, these house-scapes feel like home - warm, familiar, and full of nostalgia from my childhood. The fanciful candy-colored palettes of the houses emphasize the architectural beauty of these historic homes as we feel welcomed into their front doors. I can think of no better a home than one of pink stone and a pink slate roof. My heart flutters at the sight of those accented white shutters.
