I've been working on this collection since the beginning of the year. Flowers are one of my favorite subjects to paint, and I wanted to create a collection of larger florals that felt very soft and organic, allowing for an interplay between subject and background. Each piece is comprised of many layers of paint, neocolor crayon, and paper on top of wooden panel.
The Depth of Light
There are 12 pieces, each with their own personality: some light, some bright, some moody. Each will make a beautiful, timeless statement in any space. The titles reflect memories and feelings of good days and hope - a beautiful reminder of peacefulness during these often stressful times.
