The world happened this year as I watched on from my windows. Self-quarantining during a global pandemic, the world outside my window became a quiet movie. The sky was still there, as were grass and trees. Nature remained unchanged. And yet, changing before my eyes.
My new collection For the Trees is my love-letter to the outside world. Based off photos I took of surrounding landscapes before and during the pandemic, these pieces are romanticized memories of the world: quiet, hopeful, familiar, and sentimental. A beautiful moment to hold forever.
