You guys! I am so excited to share this free mini-course that I'm taking with Emily Jeffords on creative business!
As you may know, I am currently a part of Emily's Artist Mastermind, and I can tell you from personal experience that the woman is a fount of knowledge (and so inspiring).
I don't know about you, but I went to art school, and I still found it super confusing to start selling my art. (I've mentioned it before, but classes on being a business owner are seriously lacking in art schools). So after a couple years of a very slow start, I began seeking out any information, webinars, articles, and podcasts I could find on how to run a creative business... and I was making a lot of mistakes!
That's why I am beyond thrilled that Emily has put together this free course. It's never too late (or too early!) in your business journey to learn something new!
You all, it's free.
I don't know about you, but as an artist and small business owner, I soak up every bit of free knowledge I can get!
The Studio Series Mini-Course will consist of five video classes and a BONUS Live Instagram Q&A with Emily! It is packed full of information and inspiration to help you in your journey as a creative and a business owner.
From March 15 - March 20 (it starts this Friday, y,all!), one class will drop every day. It's work at your own pace, so you can watch the videos one at a time, or binge them all on the 20th!
On Tuesday, March 19th, Emily will host a Live Q&A on Instagram at 8pm EST, answering your questions about creative businesses.
I am super excited to take this mini-course, and I hope you'll be there, too!
You can sign up for the Studio Series Mini-Course here!
Emily Jeffords is a professional artist and educator, and one of the smartest creative business owners I know! Besides being a talented painter, she's been running her art business for 10 years, and also hosts and teaches workshops and classes on painting, creativity, and running a small creative business.

I wanted to start a series to answer some common questions about art collecting, preservation, and the like. Welcome to Art Collecting 101, Topic 2.
Question:Do I need to dust my paintings? I am always worried about touching the surface/ruining something.
