I recently won part of a local competition for a week-long pop-up space in The Seedling Collective in Old Town Alexandria for the week of July 29 - August 4. (The Seedling Collective is a new creative workspace.) I will be using the space as a retail gallery shop and a working studio.
As part of the competition, the winners are asked to donate 6% of their sales during their pop-up week to a local Alexandria non-profit, and I choseThe Art League. I love the work the Art League does with creative community outreach with programs like SOHO, which works with at-risk teen and pre-teen girls, and IMPart, which works with injured military personnel. I'm proud to be a member of The Art League, and am honored to be able to help assist with future outreach programs to benefit the local community and beyond.
I am having an open reception on the evening of Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 6:30 - 8:30pm. You can enjoy sips & snacks and are welcome to brings friends as well.

It started with a collage: a festivity of blue and white. The Blues Collection is an exploration of the color blue, a celebration of historical ceramics, a communion of texture and line, and a little bit of letting go.
Have you ever watched a show and thought, "Wow, I'd love to live in that world on my screen." Well, lucky for you, I'm here to share some art that can give you that feeling in your own home! Emily in Paris, Friends, Bridgerton, The Bear...
